As Product Design Director at Omio, I lead all product design across the company, shaping how millions of travellers discover, plan, book, and experience their journeys across trains, buses, ferries, and flights.
Since joining Omio in April 2017, I’ve helped evolve the company’s product from a European travel startup into a global multimodal platform operating in more than 45 countries, with 80,000+ tickets sold every day, supporting over 10 million unique routes, 32 languages, and 33 currencies. The platform attracts around 900 million visitors per year and enables over 1 billion travel searches annually — a scale that continues to grow year on year.
In my role, I Lead and mentor Omio’s Product Design organisation, defining creative direction, processes, and culture from our Berlin headquarters for products used worldwide. Partner closely with executive leadership to define and evolve product strategy, ensuring design vision aligns with global growth and market expansion. Built and hired Omio’s User Research function, laying the foundation for insight-driven design now embedded across the organisation. Drive end-to-end UX innovation, from search and booking to post-trip experience, focused on simplicity, performance, and localisation. Champion AI-driven transformation, integrating emerging tools to accelerate prototyping, iteration, and design exploration.
Omio today connects travelers to more than 1,000 transport providers across Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, and Brazil, continuing to redefine how people move globally through thoughtful, user centered design.
